The Launch of the Council for Supplier Diversity UK

There is currently no best practice in the UK for Supplier Diversity.

The Council for Supplier Diversity UK (SDUK) was launched in February 2021, by a group of professionals wanting to make change in the supplier diversity space and create best practice for the industry.

Through SDUK we aim to answer the following questions:

  • What is the definition of supplier diversity?

  • Is a supply chain 52% comprised by SMEs good or bad?  And is that by spend or by number?

  • How do you find a trusted ethnic minority owned, female led business?

Watch the launch event below, which was run as part of the GSA's Festival of Sourcing 2021.
