Lauren Jones

Throughout her career, Lauren has made it her mission to promote the use of best practice procurement. Lauren is an example of someone whose passion for their job can be seen in her continuous personal development and the development of those around her. Starting her career in procurement in telecoms, Lauren has since spent the last decade leading retail procurement teams most recently as the Head of Procurement for Amazon Fresh. During this journey Lauren has worked on some huge projects that have changed the shape of retail in the UK. Lauren strives to empower her team and lead from the front making major changes to corporate social responsibility in supermarkets and championing supplier diversity. Lauren brings award-winning breadth of experience of transformation across procurement and following her recent MA in Leadership with focus on the changing shape of negotiation continues to be an excellent role model and ambassador for the profession.
